Packed with valuable proteins
Some 20% of its energy comes from valuable high-quality proteins that children need for healthy growth and healthy bones.
Balance of fructose and glucose
It is low in sugar and offers a balanced fructose to glucose ratio, which is extremely important for a healthy diet. Since fructose, or pure fruit sugar, is not well tolerated by the human body, if consumed in excess, it can put a strain on the liver, amongst others. A balance of fructose and glucose, on the other hand, is well tolerated by the body. This key aspect was taken into account when developing the GoKids porridge recipe: a little agave syrup sweetens the porridge, while the addition of an exact amount of dextrose balances out the sugar content. This prevents putting too much strain on the liver, supplies all of the body’s cells and ensures the porridge provides long-lasting fullness.
A lot less sugar, a lot more flavour
To make sure kids love the taste of GoKids porridge despite it being low in sugar, we’ve not only packed it with lots of fruit, we’ve also added natural fruit flavouring. This gives the porridges a wonderfully fruity flavour without being too sweet.
Natural vitamins and minerals
Oats are rich in vitamins, trace elements and minerals. Which basically means they contain B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin K, iron, selenium and copper – to name but a few. GoKids porridge contains 35–40 % boiled wholegrain oat flakes!
Organic and therefore free from additives
Our porridges are organic and thus free from preservatives, artificial aromas and colours.
